Navigating AIQ

Once you are comfortable using dashboards, this section gives you a more detailed look at the key areas of the AIQ Data interface.

Header Section

The header runs across the top of every page in AIQ Data. It contains the main controls you will use to navigate and customize your experience.

• Organization Selector: Select or switch between organizations based on your access permissions.
• Navigation Menu: Access key actions, including admin features, dashboard categories, and account settings.
• Global filter: Apply filters across all dashboards in every category all at once.
• Theme Settings: Customize the look and feel of the interface, including text and dashboard colors, using pre-configured color palettes.
• Search Console: Quickly find a specific dashboard, chart, or data point.
• Create Dashboard: Start building a new dashboard immediately.
• Edit Categories: Rename categories, reorder them, or adjust the grid layout (2–6 columns per row).

Note: Any changes you make in the header, such as applying a global filter or switching the theme, will apply across all dashboards, not just the one you are currently viewing. If needed, you can use the Reset button to revert to the original settings.

Categories Panel

The categories panel is displayed on the home screen and shows all the available dashboard groups your administrator has set up. Common categories include Expense, Credit Card, Travel, and Employee.

Click on any category to open it. Once inside, you can view, edit, or create dashboards within that group.

Back Button on Dashboards

When you have drilled into data, a back arrow will appear in the top left of the chart. Click it to go back to the previous view. This back button only applies within the chart you are interacting with; it does not navigate away from the dashboard.

To navigate back to the main landing page, use the Home button, which will return you to the AIQ Data home screen.

Note: Do not use your browser’s back button while drilling. It may open the previous page while keeping the drill view active. Use the in-platform back arrow instead.
