Navigating Document Q&A Interface

Before You Start

Before asking questions, ensure:

• Your documents have finished processing and display a Ready (100%) status.
• You have access to the documents you want to query.
• The documents are selected in the Sources panel.

Conversations

• Start a new conversation.
• View previous conversations.
• Rename or delete conversations.

Chat Workspace

• Where you type your prompts.
• Where AI responses appear.
• Continue conversations with follow-up questions.

Sources

The Sources panel is where you manage the documents used during your conversation.

• Browse your uploaded documents and folders.
• Select one or more documents to use as sources.
• Upload additional documents.
• Switch between Files and Citations.
• Only selected documents are used for responses.
• Preview documents that have been cited by the Docs Agent directly from the panel.
